Guidance for Reopening Buildings for Occupancy

As businesses prepare to reopen facilities following the COVID-19 lockdowns, we want to remind you of the importance of flushing your building’s plumbing to restore adequate on-site water quality.
If your building has been closed for an extended period or water usage has decreased due to lower occupancy, we encourage you to properly flush the building before returning to service. Taste, odor, and other water quality issues can arise from stagnant water in building systems that have been dormant for an extended period.
